How come Bobby Knights name has not come up as a real candidate for the Knicks head coaching job? It seems to be that there are many good reasons for it. 1. Perfect person to work with the young Knicks and revitalize the franchise. Why? He is available, Donny Walsh is an Indiana guy. Eddie Curry's problems of the court reflect his lack of fundamentals. He is the poster boy for not jumping to the pros from HS. Things like defending the pick and roll and help defense in the interior are skills he could have developed in college. Thepro level is not the place to learn the basics. Not for nothing, but Starbury and Isiah together spell disaster. Everwhere Starbury went, his teams plummeted while his stats rose. What ever Isiah touched appears to turn to be gold, but was later found to be a browner, smellier substance. Isiah may of been a great player, a decent coach, and an eye for talent, but he has no business running a financial juggernaut like the NY Knick payroll. Starbury may shine with better, more team oriented players, but as the solo act in NY, he has done nothing. I'm sorry, but both have to go if the Knicks are ever to rebuild from the Starbury-Isiah era.

I'm sick of turning on the game when I get home from work and we are already down by 10 in the 1st. I'm sick of our mini runs in the game that get the crowd goin but then we end up falling short in modern knick fashion. All Isiah Thomas does is trade players like a con man does with horses. He exalts how better this player is over say the rest of the field and gives a few intangibles as to what/would make him a great player. Then the player does decently, and eventually finds himself traded for someone else of equal talent OR to get a collection of pieces for one that is slightly above average. In addition, Isiah has "wasted" his last four years worth of draft picks between trading them away, letting them go, or getting players of decent skill, only to trade them away too. Remember Sweetney, Lampe, Frye, and Ariza? All Thomas did was draft them, showcase them as competitive players or with a specialty (Ariza a defender, Channing a shooter) and then dump them for another suspect trade. Really, the only interest I have in watching the Knicks now is to see what team Isiah will con into next with his horse trading scheme.

The first things that the Knicks need are a top class coach, a top class GM and top class ownership. With these things in place the rest always follows. The ownership needs changed first. A top class owner will hire a top class GM who in turn will hire the right coach. Results will then pick up significantly in the short term through the improved coaching while the right trade and free agency moves will be made to create a dynasty. It sounds simple and it is but organisations like the Clippers show how incompetent ownership etc can ruin a franchise for decades.

The Knicks Starbury point guard decided to pick up his ball and go home when Isaih had the nerve to tell him he wanted Starbury to play defense and be a leader on offense and that his playing time would be reduced until he does both of those things.

The Knicks have been improved. Zack Randolph has been a great addition and Eddy Curry and him have played well together. I like Jamal Crawford and David Lee is a work horse player that does the dirty work and Nate Robinson brings energy and Renaldo Balkman has been a alright player. With the Positives theier are negatives the Knicks are a horrible team defending the three-pointer and Zack Randolph and Eddy Curry are not great defensively. The Biggest problem is Stephon Marbuary i hate him alot. The knicks could trade him to the Indiana Pacers for Jamal Tinsley.

I have heard thru the grapevine that the Knicks are looking to trade for Ron Artest and have heard David Lee's name as part of the trade. We dont need another Thug on this team. David Lee is a role model of hard work and maturity and a great player besides. Artest has a proven record of fighting and destroying cameras etc. we dont need him with the Knicks.

It is obvious that Isiah is a racist and has no respect for females. The fact that Jim Dolan keeps him means that Dolan is a racist and anti female as well. As a white male I was appaled at what Isiah said about his White fan base in court. I would not step foot in MSG ever until Isiah is gone.

The last game is an anomaly: Glavine did well for the Mets this season. How much worse is his record b/c of the routinely blown saves by this horrible pen. Can't really fault Willie except to say that when they were talking about that "abundance of starting pitching", maybe they should have made the move and strengthened their bullpen immediately.
