Russian History

The Devils final week before the Olympic break includes a home and home with the Philadelphia Flyers, a visit from the Nashville Predators and closes out with a road contest against the Carolina Hurricanes. Newly acquired Ilya Kovalchuk is the 17th Russian-born player to appear for the New Jersey Devils dating back to the club’s history.

Devils Hope to Score Big

Not a Happy New Year

The Devils will be happy to flip the calendar to February after finishing the first month of 2010 with a 7-7-1 record and especially after New Jersey's final game of January turned out to be eerily similar to last April's Game 7 playoff defeat against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Big 5-0

Despite some recent struggles, the New Jersey Devils reached the 50-game mark with a record of 34-15-1, good for 69 points, their best record ever through 50 games in club history.
