Adam “The Bull” Gerstenhaber joined the FAN in 2007 after doing 6 years of sports talk in Utica, NY. Before that Adam was the play-by-play voice of the Batavia Muckdogs of the New York Penn League.
Favorite moments in radio include: Doing play by play for three different MLB Hall of Fame games in Cooperstown. Doing play by play for what at the time was the highest scoring game in modern college football history in which the Hartwick Hawks defeated the Utica Pioneers 72-70 in 4 overtimes. Interviewing legendary coach John Wooden.
A native New Yorker, Adam was born and raised in Brooklyn where he attended Sheepshead Bay HS. He graduated from the State University of New York at Brockport in 2000. Adam is a die-hard fan of the Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Bengals and St. Johns Red Storm hoops.
In addition to sports, Adam enjoys reading, going to the movies and a great slice of Brooklyn pizza.
